Lectors/Readers
Purpose:
The Liturgy of the Word, as a principal element of the Mass, contains the sacred texts of Scripture, revealing God speaking to His people. This ministry offers Parishioners the opportunity to be a reader, to spread the Good News and gives witness to the central role of the Word of God in the life of the Church. Lectors announce the intentions for the general intercessions and also important parish news.
